Race 8: Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Stakes (G1)

#2 War Like Goddess takes on the boy today; however, she still looks to be a bit better than this field. This will be a good test to see if she will take on the boys at the Breeders Cup. #7 Gufo has been solid lately and always is good for a nice closing kick down the lane. However, he does have trouble winning at times.

Race 9: Claiming

#3 Skylander moves back to the dirt today, while also taking a big drop in class, and running for a new barn. #9 Fromanothamutha takes a big drop in class today, which looks to be needed after a poor effort time out against allowance runners.

Race 10: Allowance

#4 Shes a Mia should be tough in this spot if she rebounds from a poor effort last time out. She had hit the board in five straight starts before that poor performances. #1 New Ginya has run second at this level in two straight starts against similar runners.

Race 11: Maiden Claiming

#2 Jocosity drops down to the maiden claiming ranks for this race, which is one of the biggest drops in horse racing. Her speed figures look better than the rest of this field. #1 Oak Loves a Fight was close at this level in her last three starts. She should be competitive once again today.
