Rocket Picks 🚀: Aqueduct, Keeneland, and Gulfstream Park for April 13, 2023

Race 5: Allowance

#3 Mr. Kringle drops down to New York bred company today, which is where we have seen him at this best. #2 Liar’s Poker also will get class relief down to state bred company in this spot after taking on stakes horses last time out over this track.

Race 6: Maiden Special Weight

#1 Equal Protection improved last time out when moving over to the turf. We should see more improvement out of him today. #6 Ohana Honor becomes a play with the scratch of the other Chad Brown runners. He should be set up to run a big race today.

Race 7: Allowance

#1 My First Love stretches back out to a mile today after running poorly going shorter. This is her best distance. #6 Chasing Daylight goes for two in a row today after running well on debut; however, she returns off of a long layoff in this spot.

Race 8: Allowance Optional Claiming

#4 Nothing Better returns from a layoff today after winning two of his last three starts. He always shows up with a solid effort. #11 Voodoo Zip also returns from a layoff, while running as a gelding for the first time. This will serve as a major drop in class for him today, though.
