Race 9: Claiming

#3 Another Mystery usually runs best when stretching out in distance, which means he should handle this two mile test. #10 Value Engineering is another in this spot that should enjoy the long distance. With this race, almost anyone can win, as we never see our horses run at this distance.

Race 10: Allowance Optional Claiming

#7 Nitrous Channel returns from a long layoff today; however, he looks to be the most talented horse in the race. He was headed for a solid season before the injury. #1 He’s in Charge also returns from a layoff today, but has shown talent in his past races, which makes him dangerous today.

Race 11: Claiming

#2 Outperform should win in this spot if he can rebound from stumbling and being eased up in his last start. Pletcher would not run this horse if he was not doing well, so look for him to rebound. #4 Unexpected Outcome runs second off of the layoff today, which should lead to an improved effort.
