Race 8: Carter Handicap (G1)

#4 Repo Rocks has turned into a monster this weekend at Aqueduct. He will be tough to beat if he runs that type of race again today. #5 Little Vic becomes a play with the scratch of White Abarrio. This horse seems to be getting better with each start.

Race 9: Allowance

#2 Expand the Map finally broke her maiden last time out and should make it two in a row today. This horse has always had a good deal of talent. #6 Veronica Greene drops down to the allowance ranks after running well last time out against stakes company.

Race 10: Maiden Special Weight

#5 Strictly Taboo should improve today in her second start, while also dropping down in class to state bred company. #7 Red Hot Chick returns from a layoff today, but was solid in her only turf start last time out.

Race 11: Wood Memorial Stakes (G2)

#5 Slip Mahoney should get a better trip this time out, while also having a pedigree that suggests he’ll like the added distance. #13 Hit Show is the one to beat; however, he draws a tough post position that will be tricky to manage. If he gets the trip, he’ll get the job done.
