Race 7: Claiming

#7 Cactus Jack was second last time out over this track at a similar level. The speed figures suggest he will be competitive once again today. #8 Examiner goes for two in a row in this spot after a nice win against similar horses in his last start over this track.

Race 8: Maiden Special Weight

#2 Laurana is set to debut in this spot for a solid trainer with first time starts. The horse has been working well leading up to this start. #7 Bo Derek will move to the turf today after a poor showing last time out over the turf. The move to the dirt should be good for her based on her pedigree.

Race 9: Allowance Optional Claiming

#6 Rudders Men was extremely impressive on debut at Aqueduct defeating several solid horses. This is the logical next step for him today. #5 Mr. Ripple also looks to have a big future after a solid win over this track on debut. Many of these horses in this race could have a big future.

Race 10: Maiden Claiming

#4 Empire Attraction gets class relief today after running well against tougher last time out. This should be the spot where he can win. #6 Straight Time gets back to the turf today, while also taking a similar drop in class, and running for a solid new trainer today.
