Race 6: Claiming

#5 Improbable Journey gets major class relief today after running poorly against tougher runners in his last few races. #1 Lamutanaatty runs first off the claim for Asmussen today after winning at a lower level last time out. We could see some improvement today.

Race 7: Starter Allowance

#6 Winterwood drops down in class today after a poor effort last time out. Two races back he defeated allowance runners over this track. #9 Trafalgar runs first off the claim for Hartman today after a nice win last time out at Fair Grounds. Hartman will likely improve this horse who has talent.

Race 8: Temperence Hill Stakes

#4 Warrant gets class relief today, which should help his chances, while stretching back out in distance should help as well. #6 Lone Rock returns from a layoff today after falling off form last season. At one time, he was easily the top dirt marathon horse in the country.

Race 9: Maiden Claiming

#8 Storm Strategy was a close second last time out when running at this level. This is also his second straight race for Asmussen, which could lead to improvement. #5 Sir Peel gets class relief today after running poorly against maiden special weight runners.
