Rocket Picks 🚀: Keeneland, Gulfstream Park, and Aqueduct for April 22, 2022

Race 6: Allowance Optional Claiming

#2 Beths Dream has been ultra-impressive in her last two starts, winning both by open lengths in gate to wire fashion. This horse seems to be the logical single in todays sequence. #3 Flying Aletha can pull the upset if she improves in her second start off of the layoff. She was fourth last time out.

Race 7: Claiming

#2 Democracy has been third in three straight efforts taking on tougher horses. This class drop should help him got the job done, while he also stretches out in distance. #3 Spuntacular will look to make it two in a row after winning at this level and distance last time out.

Race 8: Starter Optional Claiming

#5 Living Water was close against regular allowance runners last time out and should enjoy this slight drop in class today. #7 Barone Cesco runs second off of the layoff in this spot, while also taking a nice drop down in class. Four of his last five starts have been against stakes horses.

Race 9: Maiden Optional Claiming

#2 Reddington runs for a new barn in this spot, which could make a difference. The horse has hit the board in all three starts so far. #9 Aztec debuts in a race that looks like a first time starter can win. He has solid connections on his side as well.
