Rocket Picks 🚀: Keeneland and Aqueduct for April 28, 2023

Let’s get another big Friday of racing kicked off today! We are changing things up with the Rockets, focusing more on Pick 3 and Pick 5 plays, and not Pick 4’s. With that being said, this article will now focus on Pick 3’s with larger base wagers. Today, we will look at the middle Pick 3 from Keeneland. We will also have full card selections for Aqueduct for the paid Rockets, so be sure to check those out. Let’s GO!

Race 3: Maiden Claiming

#5 Dee Dee B gets major class relief if this spot after running poorly over the synthetic surface against tougher runners. Ward had been tough to beat all meet long as well. #4 Viewers Discretion will move over to the dirt again after a decent showing on the synthetic surface at Turfway Park. We will also use #7 Replenish on our ticket.

Race 4: Claiming

#3 Ardanwood will also get class relief, while also returning from a layoff. This trainer usually has them ready to fire off of the bench. We will also use #4 Oddsontony and #1 Flute Master on our ticket.

Race 5: Allowance Optional Claiming

We’ll go with a single in this leg with #3 We The People, who is now with Todd Pletcher. The horse has always shown promise since his debut, while he gets some decent class relief to kick off his 2023 season. Pletcher might have a big year lined up for him.
