Race 6: Claiming

#3 Ernie Banker has strong Oaklawn Park connections, while usually running competitively at this level. #2 Big Boss Ben runs on the dirt for the second straight race today, will take a drop in class, and gets a rider upgrade for this one.

Race 7: Maiden Special Weight

#10 Blue Norther was decent on debut, taking on tough company at Churchill Downs, and should improve on the stretch out today. #2 Kupuna can definitely win in this spot if he can repeat his last effort, which saw him finish second.

Race 8: Fifth Season Stakes

#5 Concert Tour could be revved up and ready to roll today for new trainer Brad Cox. This horse has a ton of talent, but it all went wrong for him last year. #1 Thomas Shelby will be the one they all have to run down in this spot. He comes into the race running fantastic.

Race 9: Allowance

#2 Mo Choctaw could not have been more impressive on debut last time out. This is the logical next step for him. #12 Gar Hole also was very impressive in his last race, and beat tougher horses than our top choice. This should be a nice duel between the two horses.
