Race 8: Maiden Claiming

#8 But I Did ran well at this level off of the layoff last time out, and should improve today with Motion on his side. #7 Trupia will move over to the synthetic surface for this race after struggling over the turf in his last two starts.

Race 9: Allowance Optional Claiming

#7 Microphone will look to make it two in a row after an impressive maiden score at Tampa Bay Downs last time out. #6 Mid Day Image set the pace and nearly won at this level last time out, getting passed late and losing by a neck. He should be in front again today.

Race 10: Allowance Optional Claiming

#2 First Captain was a very exciting horse last season, that should be ready to roll today, as he makes his 2022 debut. However, #1 Real Talk also has shown a lot of talent in the past, and could be a challenge if they let him get loose on the lead.

Race 11: Maiden Special Weight

#8 Beachfront Bid moves back over to the turf today after running second over the synthetic last time out. She has been close in both of her starts so far. #5 Lady Puchi will also move back to the turf today, which looks to be her best surface.
