Rocket Picks 🚀: Gulfstream Park, Oaklawn Park, and Aqueduct for January 1, 2021

Race 6: Claiming

#9 Missalpha won an allowance last time out at Finger Lakes, and should fit in well with this group, which looks to be a lower level. #3 Summer Bourbon runs first off the claim for Linda Rice today, while running consistent amongst the claiming ranks all year long.

Race 7: Allowance Optional Claiming

#2 Big Bobby has been ultra-consistent so far in his career, hitting the board in all six of his starts. He is always around in the end with a big chance to win. #8 Bustin Shout runs third off of the layoff today, which should lead to improvement. He has races in his past performances that can win in this spot.

Race 8: Jerome Stakes

#6 Courvoisier seems to be getting better with each start. The breeding is there, and he gets Ortiz to ride, which is a good sign for this race. #3 Ohtwoohthreefive has shown great form on the turf so far. If he moves successfully to the turf, he can win in this fairly weak spot.

Race 9: Allowance

#5 Towering Orbit gets Jose Ortiz aboard for the third straight race today, while facing a little bit of an easier field than what she has been facing. She also could be the lone speed in todays contest. #2 Snicket moves back to the dirt in this spot, which could make her dangerous after several lack luster turf efforts.
