Rocket Picks 🚀: Del Mar, Gulfstream Park, and Saratoga for July 22, 2022

Race 7: Allowance

#7 Efficiency should get out to a nice early lead in this spot after dominating a maiden special weight last time out at Belmont Park. He will be tough if he can control the early pace over this dirt course. #1 Keepmeinmind moves over to the Pletcher barn after taking on the best horses in the crop last year. We will see if this drop down in class and trainer change will get him back to the winners circle.

Race 8: Allowance Optional Claiming

#6 Sassy Melissa has run consistently well at this level in her last three starts, including a win at Aqueduct two races back. Jose Ortiz is back aboard today, which is a good sign. #1 Makin My Move goes for two straight victories after an impressive performance at Belmont Park last time out.

Race 9: Lake George Stakes (G3)

#5 Dolce Zel has run well in three starts this season, while losing to some of the better turf horses in her crop so far. She should show up with another solid effort today. #6 Eminent Victor won last time out after a long layoff and should move forward off of that race today.

Race 10: Allowance

#8 Let Her Inspire U looks for two straight wins after a solid win off of the layoff last time out at Belmont Park. This is a logical next race for her after that impressive win. #7 Leeloo was second at this level last time out at Aqueduct and could improve today with Jose Ortiz taking over the mount.
