Race 7: Allowance Optional Claiming

#3 Balthus looks for his third straight win today after two nice victories at Belmont Park during their Spring meet. This race looks pretty similar to what he has been beating. #1 Mud Pie ships into Saratoga from Churchill Downs, where he was second in a similar race. This is also his second race off of the layoff.

Race 8: Allowance

#2 Repealing was third last time out over this track and at this level, which was her first race against winners. Look for her to improve in this spot today. #8 Baba nearly won at this level last time out at Belmont Park, finishing second by a head. She should show up with a solid effort again today.

Race 9: Bolton Landing Stakes

#2 Love Reigns returns from Royal Ascot today, where she finished a solid fourth, only beaten by 3 lengths. She should be tough in this spot, which is a drop down in class. #8 Danse Macabre looked fantastic in her turf debut last time out in a dominant win at Colonial Downs. She has the best speed figure out of anyone in the race.

Race 10: Maiden Claiming

#8 Vagaries takes a big drop down in class for this race for Chad Brown, who continues to strangle the competition at this meet. #9 Candlestick Maker drops back down to the $40K level, which is where she nearly one two starts back at Belmont Park.
