Rocket Picks 🚀: Del Mar and Saratoga for August 4, 2022

It’s another big weekend of racing so lets day HOT! Last week was another solid success for the Rockets. For the free pick 4, we will head back to Saratoga for the Late Pick 4 on the card. We will also have full card selections for Del Mar for the paid Rockets, so be sure to check those out.

Race 7: Allowance Optional Claiming

#3 Spicy Marg runs off of a small break today after running third at this level last time in a strong race at Churchill Downs. That race should have her well prepared for todays contest. #6 Mail Order goes for two straight wins in this spot after a sharp allowance victory at Belmont Park in her last start.

Race 8: Alydar Stakes

#5 Art Collector is back after a layoff; however, he looks to be the strongest horse in this race. He was able to win three nice races last year, including one over this track. #6 Masqueparade makes his third start off of the layoff after defeating allowance runners at Churchill Downs in his last start.

Race 9: Allowance Optional Claiming

#2 Atone gets class relief in this spot after taking on graded stakes horses in their last five starts. At this class level, he seems like a standout, but this is a tougher allowance group. #9 Big Everest goes for three straight victories after winning two allowance races in a row at Belmont Park.

Race 10: Starter Allowance

#1 Stuck On Kitten runs second off of the layoff today after running fourth last time out at Belmont Park against similar horses. She should improve off of that effort. #7 Miss Domina runs second off of the layoff in this spot, while also taking a nice drop down in class after running against stakes company at Monmouth Park.
