Rocket Picks 🚀: Churchill Downs, Pimlico, and Belmont Park for May 19, 2022

Race 6: Starter Allowance

#10 Dot’s Dollar should be tough to beat not that the race is off of the turf. Last time out he was a solid winner at Aqueduct in gate to wire fashion over the dirt. #1 Juggler also will be tough in this spot, dropping out of stakes company to run in today’s contest.

Race 7: Claiming

#8 Zaevion runs second off of the layoff today after a solid second place effort last time out against similar horses. He should improve off of that effort. #9 Alcools runs first off of the claim for a solid barn today after running second against tougher horses last time out.

Race 8: Allowance Optional Claiming

#12 Pretty Clever was a nice winner last time out against similar horses over a muddy track. The off track today should make her tough to beat. #13 Chasing Cara also should be competitive now that the race has been moved over to dirt.

Race 9: Maiden Claiming

#12 North Carolina is dropping down to the maiden claiming ranks for the first time in this spot, which is the biggest class drop in horse racing. #16 Bold Victory should be tough in this race now that it has been moved over to the dirt.
