Rocket Picks 🚀: Belmont Park, Keeneland, and Santa Anita Picks for October 24, 2021

We are now less than two weeks away from the Breeders’ Cup! The free Rockets 🚀 returns to Santa Anita on Sunday afternoon! We’ll try to spread in three of the legs, with a single in the other, in hopes of cashing in on a nice score. The sequence features the Anoakia Stakes, as well as three other high caliber races.

Race 6: Claiming

#1 Ascot Storm has solid Santa Anita connections with Prat aboard and Glatt training. This will be his first start for Glatt as well, which is a great angle. #6 Crash Corrigan can win here if he rebounds from a poor effort last time out. Two starts back he broke his maiden in a special weight.

Race 7: Starter Optional Claiming

#6 Big Coupe will try to make it two in a row today after breaking his maiden at Del Mar. He has never finished off the board in six lifetime starts. We’ll use three more in this spot at big prices, hoping to inject some value into the sequence.

Race 8: Anoakia Stakes

#1 Eda drops down in class after running against much tougher at Del Mar. She is still a maiden, which is odd, but finished second by a head in a Grade 2 race two races back. #5 Shes Bout a Mover won nicely last time out in a maiden special weight at Los Alamitos. This is the next logical move up the ladder for her.

Race 9: Maiden Special Weight

#9 Wall Street Trader makes his debut for a trainer that is pretty solid with first time starters. He also gets top jockey Flavien Prat aboard. #10 Dancing Rinca moves to the turf today, which should be to his likely. This trainer is solid with second time starters as well.
