Race 7: Allowance Optional Claiming

#1 Big Engine was a close third last time out at this level and looks to match up pretty well with this group today. #6 Daufuskie Island has won two straight coming into this race, including a victory at this level in his last start.

Race 8: Allowance Optional Claiming

#4 Root Cause should run better today after a poor start last time out at Churchill Downs. This will be her second start against winners. #5 Lifelovenlaughter runs second off of the layoff in this spot, which should lead to an improved effort. Jose Ortiz jumps aboard as well, which is a good sign.

Race 9: Claiming

#1 K P All Systems Go runs second off of a long layoff in this spot, which should lead to an improved effort. #3 Hilliard moves back to the turf today after two straight poor efforts over the synthetic surface at Turfway Park. This is also a nice drop down in class for him. We will also use #9 Sonic Speed on the ticket.
