Race 9: Allowance Optional Claiming

#3 Nicky the Vest returns today from a long layoff for a solid trainer in Thomas. At one time, they thought this horse was going to be very good. #2 Best Idea goes for two in a row at this level after a solid win last time out at Saratoga. The second place finisher in that race came back to win last weekend.

Race 10: Ashley T. Cole Stakes

#5 City Man drops back to New York bred races after back to back solid efforts against open company at Saratoga. He is the class of this field today. #6 Sanctuary City goes for two straight victories after a close allowance win last time out at Saratoga.

Race 11: Maiden Claiming

#9 Oak Loves a Fight has hit the board in two straight starts at this class level and distance. She his due to break through in this spot. #3 Jannie Mae can win in this spot if she rebounds from a poor effort last time out at Saratoga.
