Race 6: Starter Optional Claiming

#4 Barrage was a head away from victory last time out against tougher runners at Aqueduct. This seems to be a logical spot for him. #1 Valiant Avenger goes for two in a row in this spot after winning at this level over the synthetic surface in his last start.

Race 7: Claiming

#4 Prince of Iron should improve today making his second start off of a long layoff. He also will get class relief down to the claiming ranks for the first time since breaking his maiden. #2 One America was a close second last time out when running at a similar level at Laurel Park.

Race 8: Allowance Optional Claiming

#6 Tall Girl goes for two straight wins today after a sharp maiden claiming win last time out at Aqueduct. She gets Irad Ortiz, Jr. aboard today, which is a good sign. #3 Irony moves over to the turf today for the first time after running well over the synthetic surface in three lifetime starts.

Race 9: Claiming

#3 Amazing Trip looks for two straight wins at this level after a solid victory last time out over this track. #5 Hannita’s Empire gets back to the dirt today, which should help her chances. She also runs first off of the claim for a solid trainer, with Luis Saez aboard.
