Rocket Picks 🚀: Aqueduct and Keeneland for April 27, 2023

Let’s get another big Thursday of racing kicked off today! We are changing things up with the Rockets, focusing more on Pick 3 and Pick 5 plays, and not Pick 4’s. With that being said, this article will now focus on Pick 3’s with larger base wagers. Today, we will look at the early Pick 3 from Aqueduct. Race 1: Allowance Optional Claiming

#5 Whatlovelookslike usually puts up a solid effort at this class level and distance. She should be ready to fire off the layoff for a solid trainer in Todd Pletcher. #3 Sanura goes for three in a row two; however, must change over to the turf after running on the synthetic surface at Gulfstream Park.

Race 2: Claiming

#2 Afilada drops back down in class today after taking on much tougher runners last time out. This is the right class level for the horse. #1 Bravo Regina was a solid second last time out at this level. A repeat effort like her last one will be good enough to win today. We will also use #5 In Traffic on our ticket.

Race 3: Allowance Optional Claiming

#2 Love Appeals gets some class relief today after running fourth in a stakes race last time out. This horse looks like a solid up and coming runner. #3 Sweetlou’sgotaces also gets major class relief today after taking on graded stakes runners in her last two races. This is a much better fit for her today.
