Race 8: Sunland Park Oaks

#1 Flying Connection goes for two in a row today over this track after an ultra-impressive victory last time out in the local prep race for this one. #4 Doinitthehardway also goes for two straight victories after a dominant maiden special weight score last time out at Santa Anita.

Race 9: Harry Henson Handicap

#7 Eda returns from a long layoff today, which is a question mark, but has won four straight coming into this one. Her best effort is better than the rest of this group. #8 Lady Commissioner moves back to the dirt today after a couple of lack luster efforts over the turf. She is decent over the dirt as well.

Race 10: Sunland Park Derby (G3)

#6 Hard to Figure nearly won the Robert B. Lewis Stakes (G3) last time out at Santa Anita, while earning a speed figure that look a little better than this group today. #4 Henry Q absolutely dominated his rivals last time out over this track. He seems to be one of the better local horses we have had in this race in quite some time.

Race 11: Maiden Special Weight

#4 Pip Pip is set to debut in this spot after show some fast works leading up tho this race. His breeding suggests this distance should be good for him. #5 Marked Money was a close second at this level last time out, which was his first race off of a layoff. He should improve today in this spot.
