Rocket Picks 🚀: Oaklawn Park, Gulfstream Park, and Santa Anita for March 3, 2023

Race 6: Maiden Special Weight

#3 Plaisante has run twice at this level and distance to start her career, and has been close in both of those races. #1 Queen of Light should show improvement in her second career start after running a solid third last time out at Tampa Bay Downs.

Race 7: Claiming

#4 Small Reason won at this level two starts back in a a one-turn race by four lengths. That sort of effort will be tough to beat today. #5 Joe Di Baggio gets some class relief today after hitting the board in back to back races at tougher levels.

Race 8: Allowance Optional Claiming

#3 Tamarindo was within a half-length of winning at this level last time out over this track. The small cut back in distance shoudl help. #4 Riveting Spirit goes for two in a row in this spot after a solid win last time out against similar runners.

Race 9: Maiden Special Weight

#7 Arroblue will move over to the synthetic surface for this race after a few poor efforts over the turf lately. #3 Red Hot and Blue was a solid second last time out when trying the synthetic for the first time. She should move forward in her second start over the track.
