Race 6: Claiming

#4 Megacity will drop down to the claiming ranks today after taking on allowance and stakes runners in his last several races. He also returns off of a small layoff in this spot. #7 Therapist goes for two straight wins in this spot after a sharp victory over this track in his last start.

Race 7: Allowance Optional Claiming

#3 Strong Quality has been close to winning at this level in five straight starts against tougher runners. He gets Irad aboard today, which should push him to the winners circle. #5 Petulante was a strong second at this level last time out at Tampa Bay Downs. This is his second race off of the layoff, which should lead to an improved effort.

Race 8: Claiming

#8 French Franc was a close second last time out when dropping to this level for the first time. She should be tough to beat in this spot today. #3 Sister Nell gets major class relief for this race today, which looks to be needed after some poor efforts against allowance runners.

Race 9: Starter Optional Claiming

#8 Straight Shot returns from a layoff today, and gets class relief, after winning an allowance race last time out at Delaware Park. #1 Uncork the Bottle goes for two straight wins in a row, while getting Irad Ortiz, Jr. aboard for the second straight race.
