Rocket Picks 🚀: Oaklawn Park, Gulfstream Park, and Santa Anita for February 12, 2023

Race 8: Allowance Optional Claiming

#11 Saratoga Flash looks for two in a row today after a nice win over this track in his last start. However, he will be moving up in class. #8 Ghost Giant should improve moving over to the synthetic surface today. This is also his second race off the claim for Young, who has success at Gulfstream Park.

Race 9: Maiden Special Weight

#5 Seduction was a solid second on debut last time out for Pletcher and should move forward off of that race. She also should like the stretch out in distance. #9 Shade will debut for Pletcher in this spot, who has unleashed some nice young runners at this meet.

Race 10: Allowance Optional Claiming

#8 Breath Away goes for two in a row today after a solid debut win over this track in her last start. She on like a horse that has a solid future. #9 Scottish Symphony was a decent fourth last time out at this class level. She should improve in her second start over the turf.

Race 11: Claiming

#6 Stormy Soul has been consistent at this level and over this surface in his last several starts. He is the one they all have to catch today, while it is a good sign that Saez jumps aboard. #1 High Press gets class relief back down to the level where he should be competitive.
