Rocket Picks 🚀: Oaklawn Park, Gulfstream Park, and Aqueduct for March 31, 2023

Race 6: Maiden Special Weight

#2 One Fast Dream has been competitive at this level when running on the turf. He has better speed figures than anyone in the race today. #1 Sgt. Pepper moves over to the turf after running poorly over the dirt in his first two starts. We’ll see if this moves him up.

Race 7: Allowance Optional Claiming

#2 Spirit Wind returns from a layoff today, which is a question mark, but the horse is easily the class of the field. #3 Bluefield has hit the board in three straight races at this class level and over this track. We should see more of the same from her today.

Race 8: Claiming

#5 Megacity runs first off the claim for a solid trainer after running well at this level in two straight starts. He looks to be the lone speed today, so we expect him to win in gate to wire fashion. #6 Yamato goes for two in a tow today after winning at this level last time out at Tampa Bay Downs.

Race 9: Maiden Claiming

#3 Forever Uncaptured drops down in class today after running decently against maiden special weight runners over this track. #6 Yooou Know was a close fourth last time out when making her first start over this track. He should move forward off of that effort today.
