Rocket Picks 🚀: Oaklawn Park, Gulfstream Park, and Aqueduct for April 1, 2023

Race 7: Ghostzapper Stakes (G3)

#5 First Captain returns from a layoff today with some solid works leading up to this race. At his best, he can beat this group. #3 Simplification gets some class relief after taking on some of the tougher runners in the crop. He also should run best at this distance.

Race 8: Orchid Stakes (G3)

#5 Amazing Grace makes her United States debut in this spot for solid connections. She could be a horse with a nice future in this country. #6 Personal Best goes for two in a row today after a nice win against similar runners last time out over this track.

Race 9: Sir Shackleton Stakes

#4 Weyburn is back to try to win this race for the second year in a row. He runs second off the layoff as well; however, he has not won since that solid victory last season in this race. #1 Dean Delivers always shows up with a consistent effort, while he gets some class relief today.

Race 10: Sand Spring Stakes

#6 Marketsegmentation drops down in class today after running decently against tougher last time out at Tampa Bay Downs. Her best race is a little better than the rest of these. #8 Princess Theorem was a close third last time out when facing Grade 3 company. She should run well in this spot.
