Race 6: Allowance Optional Claiming

#4 Smilin Evie won nicely on debut last time out, and takes the next logical step up the ladder today. #2 Girl Ranger was fourth in a stakes event last time out; however, this looks to be an easier spot.

Race 7: Maiden Special Weight

#5 Bonnie Brae ran well in her turf debut last time out, and now gets Prat aboard, which is a great sign. #2 La Deuxieme Etoile nearly won at this level last time out at Del Mar, and will be tough here with a similar effort.

Race 8: Santa Ynez Stakes (G2)

#1 Under the Stars should be tough in this spot for Baffert after an ultra impressive maiden victory last time out at Los Alamitos. #3 Big Switch faces tougher company today; however, she has been impressive in both her starts so far.

Race 9: Maiden Special Weight

#7 Kitty Kitana makes her United States debut in this spot after a second place finish last time out. She should love the turf. #3 Phenom has been close at this level in two straight starts, and will be tough again today.
