Race 6: Claiming
#6 Izshefrosted runs second off of the claim for Carrassco Jr., which usually leads to improvement. Look for this horse to be ridden for more speed today. #3 Palmgirl has been close several times at this level, and should have every chance to get the job done today.
Race 7: Maiden Claiming
#9 Golden Rocket was a solid third in her turf debut last time out, and with improvement she should be able to get the job done today. #3 Capetown Candy makes the ticket now after the scratch of the #7. She gets Centeno aboard, which is a good sign.
Race 8: Claiming
#6 Nothins Free has won two straight races impressively, and runs first off the claim for a solid trainer today, which means she will be tough to beat. #8 Mizzen Air drops back down to the claiming ranks today, which is where she seems to belong after winning at a similar level two starts back.
Race 9: Claiming
#10 Minnesota Lucky gets back to the turf for this race, which looks to be his best surface. #2 Croi Mor has powerful Tampa Bay Downs connections, including red hot jockey Antonio Gallardo.
