Race 5: Maiden Special Weight

#3 Missy Greer ran well in her dirt debut last time out, finishing third against some decent horses. She can win here if she improves off of that effort. #6 Im Baffled debut in this spot for a solid trainer, and gets Gaffalione aboard, which is a good sign.

Race 6: Allowance Optional Claiming

#2 Dominate Themoment runs off of a long layoff today, which is a question mark, but his past races are good enough to win here. Irad Ortiz Jr. gets the mount, which is a good sign. #10 Super Design moves back to the turf today, which seems to be his best surface.

Race 7: Allowance Optional Claiming

#2 Smarmy runs second off of the layoff today, which should lead to an improved effort. Her past races should win this one, while she could be the lone speed. #4 Battle Cry won two back at this distance, and was second last time out at a similar race.

Race 8: Maiden Claiming

#6 Chica Boom was fourth in the same race as our top choice, which ended in a blanket finish. #8 L. E. Gray will debut in this spot after showing some decent workout leading up the the race. It’s a spot that lacks a lot of talent as well, which gives her a shot.
