Race 7: Woodchopper Stakes

With all the scratches, this race becomes pretty wide open. We’ll roll with five horses in here, hoping to catch a price, and get through this first leg successfully.

Race 8: Joseph E. Spanky Broussard Memorial Stakes

#2 Cheetara will look to make it two in a row today after a nice win at Keeneland last time out. She looks like she could be loose on the lead in this spot today. #5 Velvet Crush can win here at a price, but must rebound from a poor effort last time out.

Race 9: Pago Hop Stakes

#4 Amiche picked up a nice win over this track last time out, and should be dangerous today, for a trainer who does a great job with turf horses. #6 Out of Sorts will take a bit of a class drop for this race after facing much tougher horses lately.

Race 10: Sugar Bowl Stakes

#9 Higher Standard won impressively on debut, before running second in stakes race at Oaklawn Park last time out, which was a solid effort. #2 Kaelys Brother will try to make it three straight victories after two nice performances in a row.
