Rocket Picks 🚀: Del Mar, Haskell Day at Monmouth Park, and Saratoga for July 23, 2022

This is the biggest Saturday of racing since Belmont Stakes Day and we are fired up! For the free pick 4, we will head to Monmouth Park for one of the Middle Pick 4’s on the card, which ends with an awesome running of the Haskell Stakes. We will also have full card selections for Del Mar and Saratoga for the paid Rockets, so be sure to check those out.

Race 9: MATCHMAKER STAKES (G3)

#7 Vigilantes Way is consistent in these types of races and should show up today with a solid effort once again. #2 Lemista is a consistent runner who’s had trouble finishing the job in all of her United States starts; however, she fits in very well with this group from a speed figure standpoint.

Race 10: MOLLY PITCHER STAKES (G3)

#3 Search Results picked up a nice Grade 2 win 2 starts back, then was a solid third in the Grade 1 Ogden Phipps Stakes, the division’s toughest race of the year so far. #4 Army Wife comes into his one off of a nice effort at Thistledown, where she won the Lady Jacqueline Stakes over a solid horse.

Race 11: UNITED NATIONS STAKES (G1)

#1 Adhamo has been solid in his American starts this season; however, he hasn’t been able to finish the job yet. This is a logical spot for him to try again. #4 Tribhuvan won this race last season and dominated the Manhattan Stakes last time out at Belmont Park.

Race 12: HASKELL STAKES (G1)

The Derby was too much, too soon for #2 Taiba, but he is coming into this race in much better shape. I’ll give him one more shot to prove his talents in this spot. #1 Cyberknife has the talent; however, he has struggled to put it all together mentally. If he ever puts it all together he could be dangerous.
