Rocket Picks 🚀: Belmont Park, Keeneland, and Santa Anita Picks for October 22, 2021

We are now just two weeks away from the Breeders’ Cup! The free Rockets 🚀 returns to Belmont Park on Friday afternoon! Belmont provides us with a solid 10-race card with plenty of betting opportunities. There is a stakes race on the card as, and many of the other races have horses that can get to that level with a big performance!

Race 7: Maiden Special Weight

#3 Make a Wish makes her debut for Todd Pletcher today, who has been on fire with 2-year-old’s all season long. This filly has impeccable breeding, which should help her in this 1 1/16th mile race. #4 Nostalgic debuts for Bill Mott today, with Jose Ortiz up for the ride. This Godolphin homebred has solid breeding.

Race 8: Allowance

#12 O’Gotten Girl won in gate to wire fashion last time out at this distance. The outside post position might be a help as she is drawn outside of all the other speed in the race. #2 Abuse of Power runs off the layoff today, which is a concern. However, his previous races makes her competitive in this spot.

Race 9: Carle Place Stakes

#8 Wolfie’s Dynaghost gets back to the turf today, which seems to be his best surface. This horse has talent, and the price seems to be right today. #5 Easy Time gets a little bit of an easier spot today after running against tough competition in his last few starts. He’ll be tough at this distance as well.

Race 10: Maiden Special Weight

#3 Bali’s Shade showed great speed on debut, which is the key to the race today. She nearly won over this course in that spot, and this race does not look all that strong. #8 Hot Rod Rumble struggled in her first few starts, but got going last time out over this track, finishing second in a strong effort.
