Race 7: Allowance

#3 Mrs. Green goes for two in a row in this spot after an impressive victory last time out at Saratoga. A repeat of that performance should make her the one to beat today. #1 Tuscan Queen hit the board twice at this class level over the Summer at Saratoga.

Race 8: Claiming

#6 Hometown takes a big drop in class for this race today, while also running second off of the layoff, which could lead to an improved effort. #3 Major Spin gets back to the dirt for this race, while also taking a nice drop down in class. That should help his chances, while Irad Ortiz Jr. jumps aboard.

Race 9: Allowance

#5 Truancy was a sharp maiden special weight winner last time out at Saratoga by multiple lengths. She looks ready for the next step up the ladder today. #2 Mia Bea Star has experience against allowance runners, which does give her an advantage over our top pick.

Race 10: Maiden Claiming

#5 Rugged Union moves to a different barn today after a couple of decent efforts over the turf at this class level. This field is fairly weak on paper compared to those last two races. #1 Smart Joker cuts back in distance for this race, which looks to be needed after two poor efforts going long on the turf.
