Race 7: Maiden Special Weight

#6 Photon moves back to the dirt for this race, which is where we has seen her at her best. Going one-mile on the surface should lead to her best performance yet. #3 Summer Takeover debuts in this spot for Abreu, who is solid with first time starters. Jose Ortiz jumps aboard, which is a good sign.

Race 8: Fall Highweight Handicap (G3)

#7 Runningsonofagun goes for two in a row today after a nice Grade 3 over this track in his last start. He was run consistently well against some of the best horses in the crop all season long. #1 Greeley and Ben moves up in class after a solid win over this track in his last start. He has the back class to get the job done today.

Race 9: Red Smith Stakes (G2)

#9 Solider Rising gets some class relief after running well in back to back races at the Grade 1 level on this circuit. This is the perfect spot for him today. #1 Highest Honors has run well against similar runners in his last four races since stretching out in distance. He should run well again today.

Race 10: Maiden Special Weight

#1 Mariachi was a solid second on debut over this track and at this distance. If he moves forward off of that race he is the one to beat in this spot today. #2 Victory Money debuts in this spot for Todd Pletcher, with Irad Ortiz, Jr. aboard, which is always a dangerous thing. He has been working fairly well in the mornings leading up to this start.
