Race 6: Long Island Stakes (G3)

#2 Temple City Terror takes aim at two straight victories today after an ultra-impressive effort at Keeneland last time out in the Dowager Stakes (G3). A repeat effort should lead to another victory. #4 Rocky Sky also goes for two straight today after a sharp win in the Waya Stakes (G3) at Saratoga in her last start.

Race 7: Comely Stakes (G3)

#4 Kathleen O. returns today after not being seen since a disappointing effort in the Kentucky Oaks (G1). Before that race, she looked great in two starts at Gulfstream Park. We should see a solid effort today. #3 Skratch Kat has been competitive in her last four starts and finds a good spot today.

Race 8: Aqueduct Turf Sprint Championship Stakes

#9 Gear Jockey also gets major class relief for this race after running against the toughest sprinters in the country in his last several starts. #5 Nothing Better goes for two in a row today after a solid win sprinting against allowance runners at Laurel Park.

Race 9: Maiden Claiming

#3 North Pole has been close in his last several starts, including a loss by just a head last time out when dropping to this level for the first time. #5 Whisky Warrior gets back to the dirt for this race, which should help his chances, while he also gets another drop down in class.
