Rocket Picks 🚀: Aqueduct and Keeneland for April 20, 2023

Let’s get another big Thursday of racing kicked off today! We are changing things up with the Rockets, focusing more on Pick 3 and Pick 5 plays, and not Pick 4’s. With that being said, this article will now focus on Pick 3’s with larger base wagers. Today, we will look at the early Pick 3 from Keeneland. Race 1: Maiden Claiming

#1 Dialherup gets some class relief today, while getting Irad Ortiz, Jr. to ride, which is a good sign She is the one to beat. #4 Honor Hallaren is the only older horse in the race, which could make a difference, while she should improve in her second start for a solid trainer.

Race 2: Maiden Special Weight

We’ll go with a single in this leg with #8 American Rascal for Wesley Ward. He is on fire once again this season at Keeneland with his early 2-year-olds and this one looks to be a runner. Hopefully we see another big effort in this spot.

Race 3: Maiden Special Weight

#3 Ocean City should run better today as he makes his second straight start on the turf. His first race was a disaster. #5 Write Off Jerry moves over to the turf today after running well over the synthetic surface at Turfway Park. He should run well on the turf. We will also use #2 Pearse and #8 Camilo on our ticket.
