#6 Light and Path improved when dropping in class last time out, while also running well over the synthetic surface. Look for more improvement today. #1 Sortaria debuts in this spot that looks winnable for a first time starter. The trainer isn’t too bad with first time starters as well with a limited number of runners.

Race 7: Starter Optional Claiming

#4 Hot Blooded gets back to the turf today, which looks to be his best surface. Four races back he won an allowance over the turf at Colonial Downs. #3 Skyro moves over to the synthetic surface after some solid turf efforts, which means he should have a good chance to handle this surface.

Race 8: Allowance Optional Claiming

#4 Reservenotattained moves back to the synthetic surface, which is where he nearly won at this level two starts back. #1 Grainger County gets some class relief in this spot today, while also moving back to the synthetic surface. He has handled the track well in the past.

Race 9: Maiden Special Weight

#7 Watch It moves over to the turf today after two straight decent efforts over the synthetic surface. Pletcher has been wanting to get her on the turf. #9 Sinfiltre moves over to the turf today after a poor debut effort over the dirt in her debut effort at Churchill Downs.
