Race 5: Allowance for 3-year-olds and upward going 1 1/8 miles (9 furlongs) on the turf

#7 Hellorhighwater has run into some tough competition in his career since breaking his maiden last year. Not all Allowance races are the same, and this one is much easier than what he’s seen. There is also plenty of pace for him to close into as well. #9 Spanish Kingdom has faced some of the best three year olds in the country including Field Pass, Rushie and Street Ready. His only race over this turf course came over the summer in the Transylvania Stakes (G3) where he finished fifth as he was closing. He should have an easier time closing against this group of allowance runners.

Race 6: Starter Allowance for fillies and mares 3-year-olds and upward going about 7 furlongs on the dirt

#1 Queen Nekia won a non-graded stakes race at Charles Town in her last start over the summer. Her trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. has shown time and time again he will run his horses anywhere at anytime, and this mare is an example of that. #6 La Femme Royale is on a two race win streak, but will make only her second start this year. She has extreme early speed and will show that once again with Shaun Bridgmohan aboard.

Race 7: JPMorgan Chase Jessamine Stakes (G2) for 2-year-old fillies going 1 1/16 miles (8 1/2 furlongs) on the turf

#7 Aunt Pearl absolutely dominated in her debut on September 1 at Churchill Downs at the beginning of September. She took the lead from the onset and went all the way for Brad Cox. Look for her to do the same once again. #10 Spanish Loveaffair dominated in her debut, and followed that up with a win in the Sharp Susan Stakes winning by over a length. This will be the toughest test of her career.

Race 8: $30,000 Maiden Claiming for 3-year-olds and upward going 6 1/2 furlongs on the dirt

#1 Fugitive makes his debut at the Maiden Claiming level for Mike Maker after trying multiple surfaces and multiple distances. This is one of the lowest levels he can run at here at Keeneland. #8 Long Term Thinking has one of the better races on paper, finishing second at the $20,000 Maiden Claiming level at Saratoga. He makes sense in this spot as he looks to claim his first victory.
