Ricky’s Rockets ?: Churchill Downs and Saratoga Picks for September 2, 2020

After hitting multiple Pick 4’s at Parx on Monday and cashing in on opening day at Churchill Downs we are looking to continue the momentum on Wednesday afternoon! Saratoga rolls into the final week of the meet as the action at Churchill Downs continues. This is one of the best weeks in the history’s sport and both tracks have quality stakes races. Churchill Downs brings the Unbridled Sidney Stakes for fillies and mares 3-year-olds and upward on the turf, and Saratoga brings back the With Anticipation Stakes (G3) for 2-year-old fillies going 1 1/16 miles (8 1/2 furlongs) on the inner turf.

Race 7: Allowance for 3-year-olds and upward going 1 1/4 miles (10 furlongs) on the dirt OFF TURF

#7 Tide of the Sea and #8 Succeedandsurpass are SCRATCHED! Will be using the MTO runner #1 Unrighteous instead.

Race 8: $40,000 Allowance Optional Claiming for New York-bred 3-year-olds and upward going 1 1/8 miles (9 furlongs) on the dirt

#3 Control Group is running for the hottest barn in the country. Orlando Noda is winning at 43% for the meet. Control Group is also 4/6 at Saratoga and his two races this year, he’s won both by a combined 6 1/2 lengths. #5 Our Last Buck makes his way to Saratoga for the first time since last summer. He’s in form as of late and will be tough to beat after finishing first or second in his last three starts.

Race 9: With Anticipation Stakes (G3) for 2-year-olds going 7 furlongs on the dirt OFF TURF

After this race comes off of the turf, #1 Blame the Booze and #4 Winfromwithin should take advantage on a sloppy main track.

Race 10: $40,000 Maiden Claiming for New York-bred 3-year-olds and upward going 7 furlongs on the dirt OFF TURF

#3 Justintimeforwine and #8 Bricco have been scratched. Will be using #16 Pier Forty instead.
