Ricky’s Rockets ?: Aqueduct, Gulfstream Park and Los Alamitos Picks for December 6, 2020

Ricky’s Rockets? has struck on 4 straight Sunday’s cashing Pick 4/5 tickets all over the country. I’m not sure what it is on Sunday afternoons, but it’s been a great day to play the ponies. Let’s close out the weekend right and cash some tickets as well!

Also included below: my 10-race preview of Gulfstream Park and 9-race preview of Los Alamitos.

Best of luck!

Race 6: New York Stallion Series Stakes for 2-year-old fillies going 7 furlongs on the dirt

#1 Gray Destiny sparkled in her debut going gate-to-wire over a sloppy track in her last start at Belmont Park. Jose Lezcano will ride back after letting her take command on her own. Does she like the slop, or is she just supremely talented? #3 Shanes Pretty Lady tried the Key Cents Stakes in her most recent effort, but never really found her best foot. Gray Destiny may be a special 2 year old but Shanes Pretty Lady might have the best chance to beat her.

Race 7: Garland of Roses Stakes for fillies and mares 3-year-olds and upward going 6 furlongs on the dirt

#1 Lady Ninja makes her way to the easy coast after making both of her starts on west at Santa Anita. She should be on the lead, where she is most comfortable. In her last race where she drew the rail, she finished first last year in the L. A. Woman Stakes. #7 Honey I’m Good has won two races in a row, one of which was at the stakes level. This will be her first start since June, which is a slight concern.

Race 8: New York Stallion Series Stakes for 2-year-olds going 7 furlongs on the dirt

#7 Dreamer’s Disease was no match for some of the best 2-year-olds based on his race in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1), but he certainly is the runner to beat here. He will look to make the case that he’s the best New York-bred youngster around.

Race 9: $20,000 Maiden Claiming for fillies and mares 3-year-olds and upward going 1 mile (8 furlongs) on the dirt

#4 Kitten’s Romance has been on the front end in her races at the $40,000 level, so she will probably be able to do the same here. Kendrick Carmouche rides back for the fourth straight race as she makes her dirt debut. #8 Celestial Dream will also look to break her maiden on the dirt after failed efforts on the turf. Her pedigree screams grass, but she simply hasn’t responded.
