Analysis: There is no doubt I expected Mor Spirit to win the Robert B. Lewis, but I did not expect him to do so with relative ease. Jockey Gary Stevens basically let the horse get a bit of an education in the race as he could have won by many more lengths. This horse is still developing, and may not have it all figured out yet which is a scary thought.
