Joel Rosario piloted the 3/2 favorite to a 1-length hand-ridden score, her first at the stakes level. She completed the 6 1/2-furlong fast dirt sprint in 1:16.05 after closely stalking the pace.

“It looked like those couple of horses wanted to go ahead and go on with the speed, so I just sat right behind them a little bit and let her be happy where she was,” Rosario said. “She ran really well.”

Amuse was second, 3/4 of a length ahead of Biddy Duke. Completing the strung-out order of finish came Mo See CalDynasty of Her Own, and Acting Out, the 2/1 second choice who set the early pace but faded.

With the win, the lightly-raced 5-year-old Cairo Prince mare improved her record to 8-5-1-0 with $205,400 earned.

Qahira returned $5 to win, $3 to place, and $2.40 to show. Amuse brought back $4.20 to place and $2.80 to show, while Biddy Duke paid $3.60 to show.
