Princess Grace Seeks Sixth Of Seven In Ladies Turf

FRANKLIN, KY – The $750,000 Kentucky Downs Ladies Turf Stakes (G3) is headlined by Princess Grace, winner of 3 straight stakes capped by Del Mar’s Yellow Ribbon (G2) and seeking her sixth win in her seventh start.

The Mike Stidham-trained Princess Grace shares the 126-pound high-weight with 2020 One Dreamer winner Dalika. The German-bred 5-year-old mare won 3 subsequent stakes, including the Robert G. Dick Memorial (G3) at Delaware Park 2 starts back.

She’sonthewarpath, an 8-time winner out of 19 starts, is in peak form off of 2 stakes victories at Ellis Park. Florida trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. has the horse to catch in Shifty She, a 2-time stakes winner at Gulfstream and a good third in Saratoga’s De La Rose won by 2020 Ladies Mile winner Regal Glory.
