My Picks: 5,2,4 I like #5 Bad Beat Brian trained by Mike Maker in this one. He won his first three races of the this year before stumbling to a 6th place in Race 4. He then came back in his last outing with a strong third losing by only a head to a good field.

My Picks: 8,5,3 (Confidence Level 2 out of 5)

My Picks: 8,6,1 I like #8 Americaredwhiteblu under the direction of Steve Asmussen. He is coming off an impressive maiden breaking win in his last outing and is the son of American Pharoah. That’s worth a wager on him.

My Picks: 5,7,1 I’m going with #3 Claytnthelionheart to break through and get a victory in Race 8. He has been running very competitive races finishing 2nd in three of his last 4 starts at this level.

Papa Dude Best Sports Plays of the Day

On this Friday night it is a rare night off for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, so we will shift all of our focus on the two scheduled NBA games.

Philadelphia at Atlanta

The Hawks went into Philly and won game one in impressive fashion and the Sixers came back and returned the favor to even the series at 1-1. Now, the two teams meet in Atlanta for a crucial game 3. The Hawks have been very good in the playoffs and have opened more than a few eyes with Trae Young leading the way. Joel Embid was fantastic in Game 2 and he will need to be just as good tonight for the Sixers.

My Pick: Philadelphia -1.5 (Confidence Level 3 out of 5)

Phoenix at Denver

The Suns won the first two games in the desert and now the series switches to the Mile High City for Game 3. I thought if the Suns could get past the Lakers in the first round (which they did with very little trouble) they had a great chance to emerge from the West and into the Finals. Denver hasn’t put up much of a fight so far but they have the offensive firepower to go full throttle and get a win in this one. But, I’m all over Phoenix.

My Pick: Phoenix +1.5. (Confidence Level 4 out of 5)
