NYRA Preview: Belmont Park 10/3

After zero maiden special weight (MSW) races on Wednesday’s card, there is one on Thursday that should be very competitive. With an amazing racing weekend behind us, we are less than a month away from the most exciting racing weekend in the world – the Breeders’ Cup!

Race 2: $62,000 MSW for New York-bred 2-year-old fillies going 6 furlongs on the inner turf

#2 Dream Chasing (3/1) makes her debut for a Clement barn that has been reeling as of late. None of his runners’ performances as of late have changed my mind about the type of work he does on turf. Dream Chasing made a big splash in her last morning work, going 4 furlongs in :48.28. Junior Alvarado is aboard, which has proven to work out well for the betting public (33%, $3.63 ROI). With all of the connections on paper trending in the right direction, Clement has what should be the post-time favorite.

Ricky’s Picks: 2-1-8-5
