NYRA Preview: Aqueduct 11/20

A new week of racing is here as racing at the Big A is back. There is only one maiden special weight (MSW) today but horseplayers could be treated with much more. The Empire 6 is now up to $259,669 which kicks off in Race 4 with the lone MSW race on the card.

Race 4: $62,000 MSW for New-York-bred fillies and mares 3-years-old and upward going 1 mile (8 furlongs) on the inner turf

This isn’t exactly the best maiden special weight field of all time but nonetheless there is one horse that particularly is on my radar. #9 Two Cent Tootsie is a career 0-8 in her career, but her best finish came at the Big A albeit on the dirt after it was taken off the turf. It was close to a year ago, November 2018, but she clearly enjoys the ground and the weather. Her best finishes have come in colder weather as the surface is a little firmer. She has shown early speed in the past and clearly is the class of this field.
