HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Korea Racing Authority’s Knicks Go drew post 4 and was made the 5/2 morning line favorite for Saturday’s $3 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1) at Gulfstream Park.
Though expected to retire and stand stud in Korea following his last start in 2020, Knicks Go changed his connections’ minds – at least for one more race – after his record-breaking Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1) victory, one of 4 winners for trainer Brad Cox over the World Championships weekend. Joel Rosario keeps the mount for the third straight event.

“It’s a very prestigious race,” Cox said. “It hasn’t been around that long, but with the likes of Gun Runner, Arrogate, and City of Light, there are champions that have won this race. … This would mean a lot and do a lot for his value as a stallion. Not only is it a great purse, but it’s going to add a lot of value if he’s able to win the race.”
