Heiressall, Noble Drama Win Sheer Drama, Benny the Bull

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – My Purple Haze Stables homebred Heiressall and Harold Queen homebred Noble Drama won Sunday’s twin 7-furlong dirt sprints restricted to Florida-breds, the $75,000 Sheer Drama Stakes (for fillies and mares) and the $75,000 Benny the Bull Stakes.

In the Sheer Drama, Heiressall stalked early before taking the lead in deep stretch and winning by 1 length in a final time of 1:22.79. The Teresa Pompay trainee was the 9/5 favorite under Miguel Vasquez.

Thissmytime, Liza Star, Midnight Soiree, Cookie Dough, Starship Bonita, Reagan’s Rose, and Sayonara Bay completed the order of finish.

Heiressall returned $5.60 to win, $3.80 to place, and $2.40 to show. Thissmytime brought back $5.60 to place and $3.20 to show, while Liza Star paid $2.40 to show.

In the Benny the Bull, Noble Drama rallied from well off the pace and drove off strongly past the 1/16 pole to win by 2 1/2 lengths in a final time of 1:22.09. The David Fawkes trainee was the 3/1 third choice under Hector Berrios.

Travy Boy, Garter and Tie, Squeezadios, Red Crescent, Quenane, Art G Is Back, and Running for Riz completed the order of finish. 

Noble Drama returned $8.80 to win, $4.60 to place, and $3.20 to show. Travy Boy brought back $18.20 to place and $8.20 to show, while Garter and Tie paid $3.60 to show.
