Frank’s Rockette was the 1/5 heavy favorite under Junior Alvarado as she broke from post 4 and sat a close stalking trip outside of Bertranda.

Ahead of them, Pacific Gale posted opening fractions of :22.76 and :45.60 before Frank’s Rockette ranged up to take the lead.

Straightening for home with a widening advantage, the Bill Mott trainee drew off powerfully to win the 6 1/2-furlong dash over the fast dirt in 1:16.12.

Honor Way was second over Royal Charlotte, while behind them came Bertranda and Pacific Gale to complete the order of finish.

Bronx Beauty was scratched.

Frank’s Rockette improved her career mark to 10-6-4-0 with $606,103 earned after defeating older rivals in her first attempt. The 3-year-old Into Mischief filly, whose lone 2020 defeat came in a sloppy edition of the Purple Martin Stakes, may point to the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) for her next start.

Frank’s Rockette returned $2.70 to win and $2.10 to place, while Honor Way paid $3.70 to place. There was no show betting.
