Final Racing Dudes Divisional Rankings of 2015

Sprinters

1. Runhappy – As previously mentioned, just a total beast of a horse. Incredible talent and will be an easy Eclipse Award winner.

2. Private Zone – Another solid campaign for one of the most consistent horses in racing.

3. Rock Fall – Absolutely saddened by the tragic ending to this story. Rest in Peace Rock Fall.

4. Wild Dude – Didn’t run terrible in the Breeders Cup Sprint, just not as good as his California races.

5. Secret Circle – Happy retirement to a horse that tried every single time.

Sleeper: Salutos Amigos – Ok race in the Breeders’ Cup Sprint…back in solid form.

2 Year Old Males

1. Nyquist – I doubted him in the Juvenile and I was dead wrong. Easily the champion of this division.

2. Swipe – He’s chased Nyquist in every race so far and almost got it done in the Juvenile. Easily the second best in the division.

3. Mohaymen- Could be the favorite entering 2016 as far as the Kentucky Derby goes.  Three for three so far with a solid pedigree and trainer to back up that record.

4. Exaggerator – Solid winner of the Delta Downs Jackpot has him set up for a big 2016.  Can he keep improving like most Curlin’s do?

5. Brody’s Cause – Ok run to finish third in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, and could improve with added distance.

Sleeper: Synchrony – Quietly undefeated and ready to roll at Oaklawn Park.

2 Year Old Females

1. Songbird – The best two year old in 2015 by a WIDE margin!

2. Rachel’s Valentina – Second best by far, but still very promising. Did not disgrace herself one bit in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies.

3. Carina Mia- Nice win in the Golden Rod sets her up for a big 2016 campaign.  Has the right connections.

4. Stageplay – Daughter of Curlin also in good hands for a big 2016.

5. Catch a Glimpse – Best filly on turf for sure…probably should stay there for now.

Sleeper: Tap To It – Needs to grow up a little bit, but the potential is there.
